Grandma's Unfortunate Trip Abroad

Grandma went away to the States mid year and was fretting a little that she would not get to see her daphne or daffodils blooming. It turned out that she had good reason to be nervous.

Apparently a very needy family in the district swiped them for their own enjoyment! The daphne were to have met the same fate but for the fact that the pot was so heavy.

Like all good theives they did give Grandma a chance to recover her belongings........

Ransom Sought for Grandma’s Daffodils!!

If you ever want to see your daffodils again then send a big fat ransom of money (or lollies) and leave it on your front verandah when you get back
OR ELSE …….
the daffs get CHOPPED!
