Nic's Football Career

Nic's football season started with a similar high as was seen in his swimming. He was a senior player with the Under 12's Seahawks premiership winning team. They were winning games; he was kicking goals and was getting more involved each week. Four weeks into the season thinks turned sour during training one night when he fell awkwardly and broke both bones in his forearm. He was taken to Canberra and had his arm re-set, plastered, graffitied, re-plastered, re-graffitied and removed in the space of six weeks. He was able to make a comeback to football and he played in the final few games of the season where his team made the grand final again and finished runners-up for 2007.
